Color-fast, infection-free healing starts here

•Try not to touch them with your fingers

•Change your pillow case tonight to one that has been recently washed (satin is best if you have it.)  Don’t wash your eyebrows or even get them wet until tomorrow

•It’s safe to gently wash them the morning after your treatment, using a non-stripping mild cleanser that is approved for use on wounds (the ingredients used to cleanse open skin is key; our soap is specially formulated to support your skin's natural ability to heal)

•Let them air dry completely and follow with a thin layer of ointment, repeat again at night (this ointment took 2 years of research and is AMAZING.) Be sure to follow the instructions on the packaging

•Repeat the cleaning and ointment steps twice a day until healed, approx.10-14 days

•It is totally normal for your brows to appear dark around days 3-6. Please don’t panic, they will fade

•It's also normal for them to be itchy, gently apply pressure with a cotton swab to alleviate

•In some cases they will get a little flakey and slough like dry skin

•It’s normal to not see slight asymmetries until fully healed (recent botox can also affect your results, ask about this during your appointment), it often takes an additional appointment to work on the symmetry, although they will vary slightly with each appointment from here on out. Making them look like natural eyebrows is more important than perfect symmetry

•Little holes, faded strokes or a slight discoloration can be very common after your first appointment

•Harsh winds hitting the area is not good for the healing process, it's best to avoid boats, motorcycles or convertibles for at least a week

•Stay away from gardening, heavy household cleaning, or construction where airborne microbes are being kicked up into the air

•Wear a hat and sunglasses if avoiding prolonged, direct sun exposure isn’t possible

•Prevent makeup and makeup brushes from touching the area, as well as salt water and profuse sweat from hot tubs, saunas and "hot" fitness or yoga classes

•Lifestyle and skincare choices play a role in the longevity of your brows- sunscreen is highly recommended. Laser treatments, peels, bleaching or exfoliating creams and serums on or around the area are not recommended
